Before You Call GreenSky
Have these ready to get through faster:
- Your GreenSky account or loan number

- Your most recent statement
- Payment confirmation numbers, if calling about a payment
Expect identity verification questions. A real GreenSky representative will not ask for your online password.
Escalating a GreenSky Problem
Call and get a reference number
Explain the issue, ask for a case or reference number, and note the date, time and representative's name.
Put it in writing
Follow up by email or trackable mail with copies of contracts, statements and photos. For billing errors, written disputes preserve your rights.
Involve the merchant
If the problem is the work itself, notify the contractor in writing too. Some disputes need both parties.
File with the CFPB
If you do not get a resolution, submit a complaint at consumerfinance.gov/complaint. Companies generally respond to CFPB complaints within 15 days.
Contact your state
Your state attorney general or financial regulator also takes consumer lending complaints.
